Privacy Policy — Scrap Orbit

Scrap Orbit is built to be private by default.

What we collect

As of v1.1 this app shows advertising served by Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect device identifiers (such as the identifier for advertisers, subject to your device's privacy settings), coarse ad-interaction and diagnostics data, and general product-interaction data, in order to serve and measure ads. This data is not linked to your identity by us and we do not collect or store any of it ourselves. See Google's disclosure at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for.
• No tracking by us. We add no analytics of our own; ads are served by the Google Mobile Ads SDK as described above.
• Network use is limited to ads. Aside from fetching ads, the game runs on your device and plays fully offline.
• Local save data only. Your salvage operation's progress is stored on your device (and in your personal device backups, which we never see). Deleting the app deletes the save.

Purchases and ratings

The optional “Remove Ads” purchase is processed by Apple; we never see payment details. Rating prompts use Apple's built-in review system; we never see what you tap.

Children

Scrap Orbit is a general-audience game (rated 9+) and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.

Advertising (added in v1.1)

This app uses Google AdMob to show rewarded and interstitial ads. You can reset or limit ad identifiers in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security. Purchasing “Remove Ads” disables all advertising and the associated data collection.
